The application portal was easy to use, and the in-person interview was well-organized. The application process itself was straightforward and designed with accessibility in mind. I wish all interviews were this pleasant.

The interview process was pretty simple and straightforward initially, but it became clear towards the end that the interviewer didn't seem to favor me. It involved introductions and a talk about yourself, covering whether you're a student or not, your right to work status, your favorite foods, and if you had researched the brand and restaurant beforehand. It seems there are high expectations for junior roles, expecting senior-level experience and no diversity, despite what was on the job description, only from one specific type if you get what I mean.

So, you do an unpaid trial shift for two hours. Instead of a manager, a colleague mentors you. It felt a bit disorganized. There were some docs, but not enough. Staff were nice. The manager was friendly but seemed like they could get irritable. No formal interview, they just ask about your motivations and personal life. After the trial, I asked about the outcome and they said I wasn't successful, but they didn't tell me until I asked. The place looks nice, but the waiting staff seem stressed. Might be okay for a student or someone looking for their first job. Just know what you're getting into. They don't seem to value your time.

I applied online and then got called in for an in-person interview. A few days later, I got a call with a job offer, but it wasn't for the location I wanted initially. They mentioned there were other branches and I could pick the best one. I accepted an offer for a different branch, and the hiring manager said she'd start onboarding right away. I had to email a copy of my RTW documents. After sending them, I didn't hear back from the hiring manager, even after a follow-up email and a phone call. Weeks later, I got an automated email saying I wasn't successful.
