First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bill's Restaurants.
Assistant General Manager
Applied online and waited two weeks. Then had a 45-minute phone interview that was a clear and friendly conversation. Received an email a week later.
- What was the reason for leaving your previous employment?
General Manager
The interview took place at one of the restaurants. The interviewer was very friendly, and I felt comfortable right away. The questions were what I expected, focusing on my current job and past experiences, and we discussed all my previous roles in a conversational way, more like a chat than a formal Q&A.
- Can you describe your P&L experience?
- Tell me about your experience with budgets.
- What is your experience with team training and development?
General Manager
It was a long process. It started with a casual check-in, then I was invited to interview at the head office. After that, there was a final interview with the operations manager. Then, after two weeks, I had another final interview where they said I seemed nervous, which is understandable given the multiple interviews.
- Can you discuss P&L and numbers you know by heart?
