Chargé RSE
The recruitment process wasn't clear and in the end, candidates were ghosted, even after several follow-ups to get a simple update. No consideration, no feedback, not even to say they weren't selected. We waste time preparing for discussions and blocking our schedules, only to end up with no response. A total lack of transparency and respect in handling applications. For a company of this size, you'd expect a minimum of professionalism and communication.
- How do you plan to meet the expectations of the hotels.
Front Office Supervisor
It was a pretty straightforward process. While experience in the hotel industry is a plus, it's not strictly required. They mainly want to gauge your personality and see if you're a people person. They'll ask some basic questions, and if they think you're a good fit, they'll move forward with onboarding. Having open availability is a definite advantage because hotels operate around the clock.
- What are your strongest qualities?
Communication Project Manager
Applied with an English test and a personality test. Had a first call with HR to validate the profile, an interview with the manager, a second HR call (which I found unnecessary as it didn't add much to the first), a final interview with the N+2 (very short) and then N+3 (very long, especially regarding the personality test). This all happened in 2-3 weeks. The HR follow-up seemed quite chaotic. The day before the last interview, they asked me for feedback over the phone about the manager interview and to send an email summarizing my understanding of the role. The final interview with N+3 was unexpectedly long, considering I imagine I'll have limited interaction with them once hired. The biggest negative point: no feedback at the end of the entire process. After a follow-up call, the HR person said they would look into it. Later that day, I received an automated rejection email, without any personalization or reason. It was then impossible to reach the HR person, who had been very responsive until then...
- What are your expectations from your manager?
Senior Software Engineer
About 5 weeks after applying, I got a voicemail from a recruiter, but no email. I called back and left a message, but it took about a week to get a return call. The phone screen was pretty standard. After that, I was referred to interview with the hiring manager. That interview was half an hour and mostly consisted of typical questions, but they really dug into the details about a gap in my employment. They mentioned there might be one or two more interview rounds. However, that same weekend, I received an automated rejection email.
- Could you elaborate on the reasons for your employment gap since "date"?
