The interview process involved four interviews spread over four weeks, along with a timed Pymetrics test. After the final interview, I waited a week. HR was very helpful, but I did not get the position. I reached out to HR to ask for feedback on areas for improvement but did not receive a response.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

It begins with a quick chat with HR/Talent. They’ll want to know about your background, why you’re interested in the job, and what you enjoy doing. It’s a good time for you to see if the company is a good fit and to ask your own questions. If that chat goes well, you’ll have a more detailed talk with someone from the employer branding or marketing team. This part is about how you tell brand stories, your experience with campaigns, and how you work with other teams like HR, TA, and communications. Be ready to share actual examples of your work and the difference you’ve made. Sometimes, you might get a small assignment, like creating a sample EVP, looking at a careers page, or planning a simple social media approach. It’s usually not too demanding and you’ll have a few days to finish it. Lastly, there’s a meeting with senior leaders or important people. This is mainly about making sure you’re on the same page, discussing your views on employer branding, the kind of culture you like to work in, and if your values match the company’s. It’s more of a discussion than an evaluation. They really want to get to know you, so just be yourself. They want you to leave with a clear understanding of the job, the team, and the company atmosphere.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process started with a telephonic interview, then I was asked to complete an online test. The next round is with the plant manager where they analyse your behavioral traits. You have to give a 5 minute presentation before this interview. If selected, you move on to the final round. This is where things get unprofessional. I was asked to prepare for the final round as I was selected for it. After preparing for over a month, after entering the video interview room, I was told that I was being removed last minute due to technical reasons.

Behavioral Technical

The interview was virtual, on Zoom, after a psychometric test. If you don't finish the timed tests, that's fine. There were two interviewers. The first asked behavioral questions based on the psychometric test, like 'why do you say you are competitive', 'do you work better alone or in a team', and situational questions like 'tell me about a time you had a disagreement with your supervisor and how you overcame it.' Be ready to answer these honestly. The second interviewer asked technical questions, like 'do you have any experience in cable tech'. They seemed to like me but needed to check other candidates for the technical side. Later, HR contacted me about a different role, suggesting the first role was filled.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Regarding your competitiveness, can you elaborate?
  • Do you prefer working independently or collaboratively?
  • Describe a situation where you had a conflict with your supervisor and how you resolved it.
