Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Belden.
Finance Analyst
I went to the career fair and gave them my resume. About a week after, I surprisingly got an on-campus interview. The first round campus interview was all behavior questions and we had a very pleasant talk but I still got rejected.
- Could you explain your interest in Belden?
- Can you share details about your previous internship experiences?
- Tell me about your leadership experience.
Financial Analyst
The interview process was pretty straightforward. First, I had a phone interview, then completed an online assessment. After that, I went for an in-person interview at the plant where I met with a panel of three people. They gave me a case study to work on and asked for my solutions. The Wonderlic test was a bit intense, but the panel members were nice and reasonable.
- Can you tell me about your weaknesses?
- What about your strengths?
- Could you share an experience involving conflict?
Financial Analyst
It started with a basic interview where they asked about my weaknesses and strengths, recent successes and failures, how I handle conflict, and how I deal with office dishonesty. It also included an online assessment focused on basic logic.
