The hiring process began with an HR email asking for a design project submission before any actual interview, which I completed and sent back on time. In hindsight, that was likely a bad sign given there was no initial chat. After that, I was called in for several rounds of interviews. However, my submitted work was never acknowledged or discussed during any of these. One interviewer even confessed they hadn't bothered to read my resume, which struck me as extremely unprofessional. The entire experience felt draining, poorly managed, and dismissive of my creative contributions. It gave me the impression the company might be looking to get free ideas from aspiring creatives instead of respecting their time and effort.

So I applied and they emailed me to do a project, which I did. Then I had a zoom interview and it went well, so they asked me to do another project. I did that one too, coming up with new ideas for their personalized jewelry. But then they dismissed me without any explanation. It really felt like they just used me for free ideas and labor. I'm glad I dodged a bullet after reading reviews.

Behavioral Other

The interview experience was a bit awkward and disorganized. It felt like one person was doing all the asking while the other person just watched. The questions they asked were pretty basic and didn't really match up with what the job actually entails. I was expecting more questions specific to the role, especially since it involves chat, email, and social media. It seemed like they made their decision based more on personality and general answers rather than actual skills, which isn't a great way to tell if someone will do well. The whole thing felt rushed, and they wanted the person to start that same week. It wasn't the most professional or well-thought-out interview I've been through.

I applied online and they got back to me in about a week. First, I had a quick 15 minute phone call where they asked some general interview questions and some about the brand. Then, two days later, I was invited to their NYC headquarters for the next stage. I met with three different people there and mostly talked about my past experience. Everyone seemed really dedicated, worked hard, and loved the company. The first person I spoke with was really open about what the job actually involves. They mentioned they had been looking for a while, which made me feel like they're serious about finding the right fit for the team and not just rushing to fill a spot. It seems like they're committed to building a great team.
