BaubleBar Manager Interview Questions
& Process

The interview was 2 hours long and took place on site with three interviewers: a director, a staff member, and an HR representative. They were all nice. After the interview, I sent thank you emails to everyone. I felt good about how the interview went, but it's been 6 weeks and I haven't heard back. I emailed the HR person a week later for an update and didn't get a response. I emailed again the following week, still nothing. I put a lot of time and effort into this application, and it's disappointing that I haven't received any communication, even to say they chose someone else. It felt disrespectful of my time.

I found the role online and then got a call from HR a few weeks later. They invited me to a 1:1 with HR, which was a really nice chat. It felt more like a casual 'get to know you' type of conversation rather than a formal interview. After that, I was asked to talk with the management team and the hiring manager. The questions were pretty direct, and everyone was super friendly and clearly really into the company. They seemed like a very energetic team. The whole process, from applying to getting the offer, took about 45 days.

So I felt pretty let down by the whole interview thing at BaubleBar. They have like four rounds of interviews, and they're super detailed, you'll chat with a bunch of different people from various teams. But then, after all that, they didn't even bother to let me know if I got the job or not, or that they were giving it to someone else. It just feels like if I can make the time to interview four times, the least they could do is send a quick email saying 'thanks but no thanks.' Really disappointing.
