There were three rounds of interviews. I started with HR, and then I had two more interviews with team managers. They asked me about my experience and general knowledge about invoicing solutions. They also seemed to appreciate it when I asked them questions.

First, you send in your resume and cover letter. Then, they check if you meet the basic requirements. If you do, you'll have a phone or video call to talk more about your qualifications. After that, if you pass, you come in for an in-person interview, which might have a few parts with different people. There might be a technical test or skill assessment too. Finally, there's a last interview with someone higher up. They'll also check your references, and if everything looks good, they'll give you a job offer.

Behavioral Case Presentation

I got contacted a week after applying online. The first interview was two weeks later with the line manager and his boss, a 1-hour video call. It went well. Then I was asked to prepare a case study (a 5-page PowerPoint) to discuss for about 15 minutes. The case was about a project that was late, and I had to explain to the project sponsor how to get a Go Live date on time and on budget. The project had 6 phases, and in the second phase, I was told it was 3 weeks late, but the Go Live needed to happen in 6 weeks. I presented the case study to the head of professional services in the UK, the line manager, and his boss. After the case study, they asked me why I was interested in Basware, why I wanted to leave my current job, and how I knew about Basware. I didn't make it to the next round.
