There are about 3-4 interviews for the ER department. You'll talk to HR, the director, the supervisor, and the team. The questions are pretty much the same throughout. It's very generic. They want to know why you're a good fit, how you'd handle difficult patients, how you work with others, if you're comfortable with money, and how you've dealt with past issues with coworkers or management.

I had three interviews in total. First, I spoke with a supervisor, then with the team, and finally with the manager. They were all very professionally dressed and emphasized customer service. The interviews were pretty standard, and punctuality was stressed, so I made sure to arrive early.

The interview process is intense but straightforward. It starts with a pre-screening phone call to see if the recruiter will pass your application to the department. The department then decides if you get an interview. If you do get an interview, you'll have an in-person or Zoom call with at least 6 panelists. They'll each ask you about 2 questions, possibly more if follow-ups are needed. You'll know within 30 minutes to an hour after the interview if you're moving on to the next steps.

I applied online and a recruiter called me for a quick screening. They were really nice. Then I had a Zoom interview with the hiring manager. I was told he's very thorough and wants detailed answers. I prepared detailed answers, but the interviewer was cold and just rapid-fired questions without wanting any discussion. I was told I'd hear back, but I never did. Honestly, I'm not upset about it, considering who I might have worked for.

  • Can you describe your process for managing a project from initiation to completion?
