So, the first thing was a written test, followed by about two to three face-to-face interviews. The face-to-face chats were pretty good, and the questions asked were average. Overall, the communication was pleasant, mainly in Mandarin with some Cantonese and English mixed in.

It was a two-round interview process, including a face-to-face meeting and a phone call. They asked some technical questions and questions about my personal experience. A lot of identity materials and certificates were needed for verification. The interview itself wasn't too long, lasting about 30-60 minutes.

First, the HR or hiring manager will look at applications and pick candidates based on their skills, experience, and how well they fit the UAT testing role. Then, picked candidates might get a call for a first chat, either by phone or video. This chat is to see your background, if you've done UAT testing before, if you know banking systems, and why you want to work at Bank of Communications.

Applied online. Started with a Zoom meeting with 5-6 people, where interviewers asked questions and everyone had to answer one by one. It felt a bit chaotic and funny, with everyone wanting to speak, leading to a scramble to talk... like a quiz. Next, there was a 1-hour written test with 3 questions on ESG, fintech, the HK economy, and the GBA, which needed to be answered in both English and Chinese. Then, a group interview with 6 people discussing an M&A deal, followed by a presentation to the Heads. The Heads asked more questions but weren't very serious, even a bit unprofessional, chitchatting and praising each other while candidates were answering. I didn't like that part. The final round was a casual talk for 10-25 minutes. I heard some people skipped stages and went straight to the third round.
