First there was a phone call with an HR person. Then I had another interview with two managers in HR who are in charge of Paralegals/Legal Assistants. I wish I had prepared better, but the interviewers seemed really uninterested and unfriendly. This made me nervous because I felt like I wouldn't be considered right from the start. On the bright side, the time between interviews was fast, and they let me know quickly that I didn't get the job.
The people were nice and it was clear what they were looking for. It's big law, so it is what it is. It was demanding and intense. Everyone was very competent. It was mostly just conversations to get a sense for who I was.
I had a 20-minute zoom call with a partner for the screener interview. They mostly asked behavioral questions or why I was interested in A&P / big law in general. I got about 5 minutes at the end to ask my questions.
