AptAmigo Interview Questions

Before the actual interview, there's a 2.5-hour coding challenge focused on algorithms. I find these algorithm questions annoying because they don't truly assess an applicant's skills, but companies seem to be copying this from FANG companies. After completing the challenge with all passing code, they ghosted me. I had to chase them for feedback, and then received a generic response about 'a large number of applicants.' Many companies that respect applicants' time would review resumes first and have a preliminary chat before assigning a coding challenge. This felt like a waste of my time that I could have spent on companies genuinely interested in my application.

Got a quick response after applying, but they were pretty disorganized with scheduling. My video interview got postponed twice due to them sending emails last minute. The first time, they rescheduled 5 minutes before we were supposed to start, and I missed the email since I'd turned off notifications. The second time, they were late and sent the email 10 minutes after we were supposed to start. This was super unprofessional, so I pulled my application. It makes me wonder about how things run there day-to-day if this is how they start.
