First, there was a quick call with a recruiter for some basic info. After that, I had a 30-minute call with the lab manager. The interview was pretty straightforward and fair. They focused more on my previous experience with lab equipment and asked some minor technical questions instead of behavioral ones.
The Aoptex interview process was pretty smooth and professional. I got a call or email to set up the first interview. That first round was mostly about my background, past work, and if I'd be a good fit. The person interviewing me was nice and asked a mix of technical and situational questions for the job. After that, there was a quick follow-up, maybe another interview or a test, to check out specific skills needed for the role. They kept me in the loop, and the team was good about responding. All in all, it was a well-organized and good experience.
This position had three interviews in total, one with the hiring manager, then the HR person, and finally the director. No case study was needed, and the whole process took place in under a week.
