Got contacted by a recruiter who set up an interview with a staffing company. The interview was super focused on syntax, like really specific, instead of talking about problem-solving, system design, or just general technical knowledge. The questions were all about exact syntax details, not really about how you'd use it or in real situations.
The interview process was good, though a bit tough. They can be quite direct and might interrupt you, but you should do well. Just make sure you're well-prepared, and you'll be fine. There might be some challenges, but preparation is key.
The Apolis interview process was smooth, well-structured and transparent. It started with a recruiter screening where they explained the role, expectations and timeline. Then, there was a technical round focusing on skills and problem-solving, with thoughtful questions aligned to the job description. Later interviews were with team leads or hiring managers checking for technical and cultural fit. The whole process felt conversational and respectful, with professional and friendly people interested in my background and how I could contribute. Communication was timely and feedback was prompt.
