Candidate-reported interview process

Got contacted by a recruiter who set up an interview with a staffing company. The interview was super focused on syntax, like really specific, instead of talking about problem-solving, system design, or just general technical knowledge. The questions were all about exact syntax details, not really about how you'd use it or in real situations.

This was a recruiter screening call. The recruiter was friendly but a bit insistent. They asked standard prescreening questions about my background, experience, and the projects I've completed.

There were a few questions, and it was pretty straightforward and quick to complete. It might take longer if you're not ready.
