Had a first phone chat that lasted about half an hour, mostly covering background stuff. After that, I went in for an in-person meeting with both the finance director and the finance VP, where they asked about my background and some behavioral questions. Then, there was a 30-minute Excel test.
Recruiters were amazing, really got me excited about the new role and seemed super skilled. They had a positive vibe, made fair offers, and were easy to talk to. The interview part felt really good, but once I accepted, it was like a switch flipped. The job wasn't what they said it would be, and they were pretty dishonest throughout my time there.
I had a phone interview with HR, then an in-person interview with the Regional manager, followed by another in-person interview with the Vice President of the South. After that, I had a phone interview with the Head of HR. The interactions were all good, I learned a lot, and felt respected. I'm eager for a chance to join Aimco when a suitable opportunity arises.
