The questions were really straightforward. Mostly, they asked about specific experiences from my resume and then went into more detail about the job. It felt like a two-way conversation towards the end. I heard back about 2 weeks later that I got the position.
I went through three interviews for this role. First, there was a phone interview. Then, I had an in-person interview with another Research Assistant. Finally, I had another in-person interview with the department heads. The interviews really focused on checking if my specific experiences and skills lined up with what they were looking for in the job posting.
I applied online and heard back a few weeks later to schedule an interview. The first interview was with HR, and they asked basic stuff like why I was interested in the role, my past experience, and my background. The second interview was with a scholar, and the questions got more specific to the research.
