I went through three interviews for this role. First, there was a phone interview. Then, I had an in-person interview with another Research Assistant. Finally, I had another in-person interview with the department heads. The interviews really focused on checking if my specific experiences and skills lined up with what they were looking for in the job posting.
I applied online and heard back a few weeks later to schedule an interview. The first interview was with HR, and they asked basic stuff like why I was interested in the role, my past experience, and my background. The second interview was with a scholar, and the questions got more specific to the research.
The interview process involves three rounds. First, a chat with HR. Then, a discussion with the program manager. Finally, a meeting with the scholars you'll be collaborating with. Each interview segment is relatively brief, lasting between 10 to 30 minutes.
