Had a recruiter screen, then a first interview which was half behavioral and half leetcode easy-medium questions. The second interview was supposed to be behavioral according to the recruiter, but it turned into a technical interview focusing on C++ memory storage. I think I did okay, but I didn't advance to the next stage. To top it off, the interviewer was late and the other one was really distracted the whole time, which felt super unprofessional.
The interview process was pretty well organized and professional. Recruiters kept me in the loop about timelines and what to expect. Each part of the process felt like it had a clear purpose. The interviewers knew their stuff and were focused on seeing if I had the technical skills and how I approached problems, plus how I'd handle real-world situations.
I applied online and got a call to schedule an interview within days. The hiring manager interview was great, and I was told I'd hear back that day or early next week. But then there was silence for over a month, even though I emailed weekly. Finally, they told me they went with someone else in an email that misspelled my name. The hiring manager was nice, but the rest of the process was awful.
