So, I had phone and video interviews first. Then, the top 3 candidates, myself included, had to do this unpaid assignment which took over 20 hours. After that, we presented to a panel, followed by more in-person interviews. It was radio silence for three weeks, and then they told me they'd changed the position and had already filled it.

So first, there was this initial scientific screen over phone or Zoom where we talked about my background and what the job was about. Then, a technical screen happened, with coding and stats questions to see if I could code and do analysis. After that, I had four separate interviews with different team members to get a feel for the team and how they work together. The last part was a 45-minute presentation where I went deep into a past project, showing how I approached it scientifically, solved problems, and communicated my findings.
