First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ZURU.
Intern
I applied through the website and got invited to a 15-minute interview. It was mainly behavioural, with simple questions like why I wanted to work at ZURU. At the start, they gave a very detailed explanation of what the team does, which was helpful, but it ended up covering most of the questions I had prepared. Because of that, it was a bit challenging to ask additional questions in a way that still demonstrated strong interest. The response time after the interview was around 2.5 to 3 weeks, which felt quite long. The feedback at the end was also very generic, and I felt like I had already covered most of the points they mentioned in my responses.
- Tell me about your interest in working at ZURU.
Intern
There were three interviews: first with HR to see if you fit the environment, then with the group leader asking about work ethic, and finally a 20-minute pitch about something related to Zuru.
- Why Zuru?
- How do you handle teamwork?
- What's your plan if your project hits a snag and needs a pivot?
Intern
The process started with a screening. Then, there was a 15-20 minute online HR interview. After that, you'd have a 60-minute interview with the hiring manager. There was also a take-home assessment, and the final step was presenting your work from the assessment.
- What's your motivation for applying to this position?
