So the interview process for this role kicks off with an HR chat, just to get a feel for things, cover the job basics, and see if you're a good fit overall for the company. After that, you'll meet with the hiring manager to dive deeper into the specifics of the job and your expertise. Then comes a business case study, which you'll need to present to both the hiring manager and their boss. If that goes well, you'll have a final round of back-to-back interviews with two team members from different departments and time zones. They'll share their experiences and ask you questions to get a sense of your personality and how you'd fit into the company culture.

I applied through the website and got invited to a 15-minute interview. It was mainly behavioural, with simple questions like why I wanted to work at ZURU. At the start, they gave a very detailed explanation of what the team does, which was helpful, but it ended up covering most of the questions I had prepared. Because of that, it was a bit challenging to ask additional questions in a way that still demonstrated strong interest. The response time after the interview was around 2.5 to 3 weeks, which felt quite long. The feedback at the end was also very generic, and I felt like I had already covered most of the points they mentioned in my responses.

The process has about 3 to 4 rounds, including an HR interview, a technical interview, an assignment with a presentation, and then a loop interview. It was a thorough process. Both HR and the team made me feel really comfortable. It felt more like a casual chat than an interview. I genuinely enjoyed the whole experience.

They had me present ideas on how to boost their sales and display space. I was asked to create a presentation. I feel used as they were taking notes on what I was saying, yet I was not invited back for the next round of interviews. The job has been posted for almost a year at this point. I believe they are using the interviewing as a way to get new ideas to boost sales. I do not think they are actually looking to hire anyone. It was a waste of time and effort.
