I applied on their website and then a hiring manager reached out saying they were interested. They wanted me to do a copy editor test to "start the process." The test had screening questions, seven product descriptions, and a brand writing description. It was a lot, taking me a couple hours to complete within the 48-hour deadline. I also sent a cover letter. They included the salary and benefits in the email, so it seemed like a real shot. But then I never heard back, even after I sent a bunch of follow-up emails. Honestly, I think they owe candidates a response, even if it's a no. This company needs to step up their game.

I got this copywriting test to do first. After they told me I passed, I had a quick phone chat where the recruiter set up an in-person interview for the next day. The interview lasted about 45 minutes. Right at the end, I had to write and explain some product copy really fast. I had like three minutes to write and edit it, but it was only supposed to be a sentence or two, so it was plenty of time.

Technical Presentation

I applied online and got a response within a couple of days. Then, I had to do a copywriting test that was emailed to me. They gave me some products and asked me to write descriptions for them. After that, I had an interview with two women who work there. They were both really nice and easy to talk to. My only issue was that the emails weren't very clear, but talking in person was much better.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • As part of the interview, you'll be asked to write a product copy piece on the spot. If you're prepared and know the company's voice, it should be straightforward, as it's the main part of the job.
