The HR recruiter was very helpful in setting up the phone interviews. The first interview was a phone screening for about an hour, focusing on my career goals, work style, and interests. The second interview was also by phone, which was a bit unusual given my proximity to the company's main office. This interview was with the Manager, and his voice was very unclear due to being on speakerphone, making it difficult to understand him even after I mentioned the issue.

I had a screening call with the recruiter, then another call with the hiring manager, followed by a 5-hour on-site interview with five team members. They mentioned another analyst was starting the next week, which was weird since they said only one position was open. When they called back after the on-site, they said they'd already offered the position to someone else weeks prior, even before my second interview. They don't reimburse travel expenses, so I lost money on a flight from California to Seattle for a job that wasn't available. The phone interviews were max 45 minutes. To make things worse, someone from the company contacted my current employer, which isn't great for my current role. It felt very unprofessional, so I'd caution others to consider the risks.

There were 5 interviews all in one day, which is pretty normal for a lot of companies nowadays. The process can be pretty daunting by the 4th and 5th interview. In most of the interviews you are supposed to ask about the company to show enthusiasm. This gets difficult after 7 or 8 hours when you have already met with 3 or 4 interviewers and a recruiter.
