I spoke with three people on the Accounts Payable team. The office vibe was super chill and modern, with a really open layout. It was a bit intimidating to imagine working with so many people doing the exact same job. I was a bit hesitant because I've heard some not-so-great things about working there from people who used to be employed there. They made me an offer that was actually less than my current salary. When I turned it down, they then offered to match what I was making. Since I was at the very bottom of the pay scale for Accounts Payable, I declined the offer.

I got contacted by HR on LinkedIn. After talking about the job with HR, he suggested I speak with the director, which I did. The director and I had a long phone call, about an hour and a half, and then decided to meet up. During the in-person interview, the director mentioned I was a "dream applicant" and said they were looking to make an offer within 48 hours. I was really anticipating the offer, especially to see what it would be. But, three days later, I got an email saying they weren't moving forward with me, with no reason given. I was pretty annoyed about how much of my time I invested, which is valuable, and then got a curt rejection email with no explanation. I'm not some beginner just starting out, so I expected more. The interview itself went great and we really connected, so I can't figure out what happened between then and the rejection. My salary expectations weren't unreasonable considering my two specialized certifications that they were interested in, and the company has plenty of cash to make competitive offers. I was already a bit concerned due to Glassdoor reviews, and now I think I might have dodged a bullet.

I sent in my resume and cover letter online, and an HR person got back to me via email within about a week. We then scheduled a phone call, which also took place within a week or so. Following that call, they set up an interview. The interview itself was split into three parts, each lasting about 30 minutes, and I met with two leads and then a manager.
