I applied online and heard back pretty quickly, within a day or two, and they asked to schedule a phone interview. We set it up fast. The interview itself was kinda meh. The questions felt pretty standard, like the recruiter was just reading off a list. They didn't really dig into my resume or experience much, focusing more on 'problem-solving' type questions like how to reach new audiences these days. It wasn't hard, but I got bored fast, like within 10 minutes. By the end, I wasn't even sure I wanted the job. Then, less than an hour later, I got an email saying I wouldn't be moving on.
- The questions weren't really tough, it just felt like the right vibe wasn't there.
Account Manager
First there was a phone screen, then an in-person interview, then two more rounds of in-person interviews. It was a very in-depth process. They asked a lot of "how would you handle this scenario" questions and "tell me about a time when you..." prompts. I met a lot of different people, which gave me a great understanding of who I'd be working with and I think was a culture fit test. It was a very involved interview process and I'd only recommend you apply if you really, really want to work there.
- Can you share an instance where you successfully resolved a difficult client situation?
- Describe a time you successfully turned a negative client experience into a positive one.
FP&A Analyst
The interviewer, Casey, uses a unique case-based approach to assess your understanding of the core business model and your ability to tackle key aspects. I found it to be a really valuable interview because I learned a lot about the company and the role, which is unusual. Although it's challenging, Casey clearly has potential as a mentor, showing genuine care for his hires and passion for the company, bolstered by his impressive background. Be prepared to think creatively, stay calm, and enjoy the experience.
- What's your approach to structuring the company's revenue projections, and what's your reasoning behind it?
Customer Service Representative
So, the interview process seemed pretty standard. I applied online and got a call for a phone interview almost right away. It lasted about 20-25 minutes and they asked me about the job and my background. I also got to ask them some questions. Then, I had an in-person interview where I met with two people. I talked to each of them for about half an hour. They mostly asked about my past experiences rather than the job itself. The next step is another in-person interview.
- Looking ahead 20-30 years, if not at Zozi, where do you see yourself?
