I applied online, then had a short phone chat with HR for about 20-30 minutes about my resume. After that, I went in for an in-person interview with the clinic manager where we discussed more job-specific questions.
- In what ways can your past work experience support you in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role?

I applied on the ZOOM website, and a couple days later, an HR person emailed me to schedule a phone interview. I did the interview with that same HR person. She asked me to tell her about my resume and past employment duties. In the middle of the interview, she asked if she could offer me a DIFFERENT position in an area in Portland that was way too far from the location I had originally applied for, but I said yes. After I heard about the position and location, I advised her that it was a wonderful position but unfortunately too far for me to drive to. She then proceeded to let me know that they will keep my resume on file. I asked her if I could still continue with the position I originally applied for, and she then said that she wanted me for the other position (which I did NOT apply for originally) but that she will keep my resume for future reference. What a waste of time, I feel like it was very unprofessional to end the interview because I declined to move forward with a different position that was not the position I originally applied for.

The interview process involved a 30-minute phone interview, which felt more like a casual chat to see if I was a good fit for the role. During this call, I was asked about my past work experiences and the job responsibilities were explained to gauge my suitability. This was followed by a 1-hour in-person interview, which was more challenging.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experiences?
- Tell me about a situation where you had a problem with a coworker and how you resolved it.
- Give me an example of a time you provided excellent customer service.
