First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zomato.
Intern
The Zomato interview is pretty chill but you still learn stuff. It starts with some easy talk, then they ask you about situations, what you like, how you solve problems, and how you talk to people. It's more of a chat, looking for creativity, if you're a good fit for the team, and if you're really into it, rather than tough tech questions.

Intern
First off there was an aptitude test with Data Interpretation and P&C questions. After that, about 15 of us moved on to the actual interview process, which had 3 rounds. The first round was pretty intense, like a stress interview, where they really tested how we'd handle pressure by grilling us on our resumes. There were also some guesstimate questions. The second round was about seeing if we knew about the company and what our thoughts were on it. A puzzle question was also part of this round. Finally, the third round was with HR, and they asked about our general strengths and weaknesses.

Intern
The interview process lacked clear information and communication, making it difficult to follow. Although the interview itself was easy, better details and interaction would have been appreciated. Internships at Zomato often include technical rounds with coding challenges focusing on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). You might also be asked to discuss your past projects and answer questions to gauge your problem-solving skills. Showing your enthusiasm for food and Zomato's mission is also important!
