HM reached out via linkedin. First had a 30 min call with HM on role and past experience. Got last minute cancellation couple of times, then after a month again got scheduled. Round 1 - Resume, DSA and SQL code, stats based question. Round 2 - Although HR said it would be resume based and since i already had coding in first round, so wasnt expecting coding/prob/stats again.

For the screening, expect questions on SQL, Python/R, and foundational stats and ML. Then, about 3 technical rounds will dive deeper into stats, ML algos, modelling, and framing business problems. There might be case studies or business analytics questions related to the food-delivery or platform business. Plus, there's usually a round for behavioural/culture fit (especially for full-time roles) and project discussions.

I went through 3 interviews. The first one was a resume review, which wasn't too tough. The second interview was pretty challenging because they really dug deep into everything. It covered machine learning and DSA, and you really need to have your DSA skills solid. For ML, they expect you to know every algorithm and the math behind it. For DSA, you should be able to solve at least easy and medium LeetCode problems, and also a few hard ones.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Could you explain Binary Search?
  • Tell me about CNNs and NLP.
  • Discuss the algorithms and the math behind ML algorithms.
