First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ZOLL Medical.
Sales Representative
It was a long interview process with at least 4 different formal interviews, which were both on the phone and in person. They give you the chance to shadow a rep for a day, which is super helpful. I'd suggest working with a recruiter who knows their interview process to help guide you.
- Did you complete a lengthy personality test over the phone?
- Have you spoken with anyone who has previously taken the personality test?
Sales Representative
This is about my experience interviewing with Zoll Medical. I had already gone through a few interviews and was waiting to schedule the next one. Unfortunately, a death in my immediate family occurred then. I reached out to HR right away to see if they could schedule my next interview around the two days I would be out for the funeral services. HR never got back to me. Instead, a few days later, I got a generic email saying they decided to go with other candidates. I think I dodged a bullet; I wouldn't want to work for a company with such obvious lack of morals and integrity. Potential candidates, be warned.
- Describe a situation where you had to be aggressive with a customer or a coworker.
Sales Representative
I found out about the Sales Representative job from some ex-customers who are a Cardiologist and EP married couple. I applied and the recruiter called me. It seemed like a normal interview process and they said they were going to pass me along. Then they called me back to tell me I couldn't move forward because I apparently "didn't pass" some personality evaluation last year. I told them I never took one. Then they said they were looking for someone with "current" Cardiology contacts. I explained that I've spent 20 years calling on cardiologists and that's how I found out about the job. The HR person got tangled up in their words and I realized it was because of my age. I will never apply to this company again, and I've told my Cardiology community friends/customers about my experience.
- What is your motivation for wanting to join Zoll?
