The interview process was unresponsive, unimaginative, unprepared, and inconclusive, bordering on insulting. It consisted of three rounds for a senior national corporate level Sales Manager position. During the first interview, the interviewer shared details about a boozy trip to Napa and showed pictures of women, with suggestive undertones. There were no insightful questions asked, nor was the role, responsibilities, or success metrics clearly defined. The interview had misogynistic overtones, suggesting the company (Zoll) is out of touch with the Me-Too movement. To top it off, after a month, there was still no update on the job offer status.

To get hired at ZOLL, you really gotta get the whole capital equipment sales process down. Medical device experience is a plus. Make sure you do your homework on the company, 'cause they'll ask about it. You'll need to sell yourself to the hiring manager too. Oh, and there's a personality test, just be straight up when you take it.

I had a recruiter interview and then had to take a 40 minute sales personality interview over the phone from a different company! It was tense and quick and apparently put me out of the running. I find that fascinating for someone with over 10 years of capital equipment sales experience! lol what a joke. And I didn't even talk to a hiring manager. No wonder they have such a bad name and such a high turnover rate.
