First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ZOLL Medical.
Quality Assurance Engineer
The hiring process was quite slow, taking about a month and a half in total, with 4 interviews spaced out by a week or two each time. The final interview was with the VP of R&D and Product, who seemed disinterested and didn't even look back when leaving.
- What's your approach when you disagree with your manager?
Quality Assurance Engineer
My first contact was super nice and communicative, which made me think Zoll would be a great place to work. But then the next person I talked to was incredibly rude. He kept pressing me about why I wasn't hired out of my contract job, even after I explained it wasn't a contract-to-hire thing. It felt like he was trying to catch me in a lie or blame me for not being converted. This was my second interview, and because of how he acted, I told my initial contact I was pulling my application. If that's how it's going to be working with him, I'm not interested.
- Could you explain the distinction between a class and an interface in C#?
Supplier Quality Engineer
The interview process was quite straightforward and less intimidating than I had anticipated. I spoke with two individuals who asked typical self-assessment questions. They were quite supportive, especially since they knew it was my first interview.
- Could you introduce yourself and explain your motivation for applying to this role?
