Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zoetis.
Laboratory Technician
The interview process was quick, and the interviewers were nice. They focused on my resume, and the questions were relevant to me. I tried to use keywords from the job description. The interviewers were polite, and the whole process went smoothly.
- Could you introduce yourself?
Field Service Technician
My professor told me about this Pfizer job, they were emailing professors looking for engineers. I emailed the rep and they got back to me in 2 days. Then the rep called me to talk about the job and see if I was still interested. This call was the first interview, it wasn't too formal. A week later, they said they'd come to my area for a face-to-face interview. We met at a hotel, and I talked with two managers. They asked about my resume, especially my capstone project, and my salary expectations. The interview took about 2 hours.
- What's your comfort level with traveling for work?
Manufacturing Technician
It was over an hour, mostly standard behavioural questions (tell me about a time...), a few simple scientific questions (what is fermentation), second interview involves a tour. Overall okay process but some of the information about the job (e.g compulsory night shifts) was only mentioned at the interview and not on the job ad.
- Can you explain what fermentation is?
