Sales Representative
I sent in my application online and then heard back via email about 10 days later. They wanted to do a phone interview the very next day, which lasted about 45 minutes. We talked about my resume, my past work experiences, and they asked some situational questions. They mentioned they'd let me know if I was moving on to a face-to-face interview, which would probably be in about a week. A few days after that, I got a call to set up a face-to-face interview at a hotel, and it's supposed to be about an hour and a half long. So far, it's been a pretty good experience. I'm just trying to get ready for that next interview.
- Can you share an instance where you had to convince someone?
- What's your strategy for reaching out to offices that are difficult to get in touch with?
Sales
The whole hiring process took 3.5 months to finish. I liked the interview process and they sent regular updates. The interviewers had great energy, and the case presentation was a key part of the role. I have nothing but praise for the hiring managers.
- What makes you stand out from other candidates?
- Can you share an example of when you worked effectively with internal teams?
Sales Representative
The interview process began positively with friendly and informative individuals who seemed genuinely interested. Things moved quickly until the third round, which was an in-person interview. My interviewer had a strict time limit, leaving us only about 20-25 minutes after getting to an empty room. To be considerate of their time, I didn't ask any questions. Then, they asked me what I would do on my first day, which felt like a strange, tricky question that I wasn't sure how to answer given the way it was phrased. After interacting with so many approachable people, I was quite disappointed to get an automated rejection email.
- What would you do on your first day if hired?
