Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zoetis.
Marketing Manager
I got referred by an employee and had a recruiter call that was more about reality tv than the job. They said I was a good candidate, but then I got an automated email saying I didn't advance. Later that day, the recruiter called and said she'd rejected the wrong person, which was really unprofessional. I then interviewed with the Marketing Director and was told to expect a panel interview soon. After three weeks of no word, I followed up and was told it would happen by the end of that week. Eight weeks after that with still no contact, I pulled my application and told the recruiter and director how this makes the company look bad. It's disappointing not to get selected, but even more so because of the lack of communication. The recruiter really needs coaching on professional interactions.

Digital Marketing Manager
It was a smooth 4-round process with different people I'd be working with. The first two rounds were over the phone, and the last two were in person. They kept me updated the whole time. I got the job offer the week after my last interview. Overall, it was a good experience and didn't take too long.
- Tell me about some campaigns you've run previously.
Senior Marketing Manager
The process included a recruiter screen that was disorganized with miscommunication and lack of follow up. Then I interviewed with managers from other animal categories, then with the department, and finally with the hiring manager. The whole thing took 8 weeks.
- Can you share some of your successes and explain how you navigated any challenges you encountered?
