Data Scientist
It was a one-stage process with just one interview. The interview was split evenly between technical and social aspects. The technical questions were pretty basic, and they didn't ask any Leetcode-style questions.
- Tell me about your experience using Python.
- Tell me about your experience using SQL.
Data Scientist
I had a technical interview with 3 people, who were a mix of data scientists and data engineers. They asked me to describe how I'd tackle a sample business problem and to explain the bias vs. recall tradeoff.
- Can you describe a past project you worked on, going into technical detail?
- How would you approach solving a sample business problem?
- Describe the bias versus recall tradeoff.
Data Scientist
The interview process was pretty good and organized, which made for a nice experience overall. There were four rounds in total, and each was designed to check different skills and qualifications. Two of the rounds were all about technical skills, really letting them see how good I am technically and at solving problems. The other rounds probably covered things like behavior or if I'd fit in with the team. It felt like they really wanted to make sure I was a good fit for the job and the company. The way it was set up made everything feel smooth and fair for everyone interviewed.
- Can you describe your experience using Azure for machine learning projects?
