Software Engineer
It was a straightforward process. Round 1 was about basic DSA and basic OOPS, with 3 DSA questions. Round 2 was supposed to be technical too, but it ended up being an HR round. They're big on Java, so proficiency there is a plus. The interviewers were pretty chill, and the overall vibe was relaxed. They really wanted to check if the basics were clear.
- Where do you envision yourself in the next five years?
Software Engineer
The hiring process took a while, and communication was slow. I went through 3 interview rounds. The first round was a pre-recorded video interview where I had to answer basic questions like 'why do you want to work here?'. Next, I had a phone interview that explored my past experience and included some simple brain teasers. The third round took weeks to schedule, and I had to reach out to them because they never responded to my emails. This round was unexpected, and I ended up speaking with a team lead who asked me several questions about data management.
- Why do you want to work with us?
- What are some simple brain teasers?
- Tell me about your background.
Software Engineer
I applied to ZLTechnologies at the end of May 2018. They sent me a link for an assessment with 50 questions to finish in 15 minutes, which I did. Then, a phone interview was set up. It involved about 2 brain teasers that I got right. The recruiter said he'd update me on the next steps by the end of June, but he never did. I reached out again in early July, and that's when he mentioned they were now looking for a UI person and would let me know if the role opened up again. He also suggested I apply for a Systems Analyst job. Total waste of time.
- What is the angle between the hour and minute hands at 3:50?
