The first part was an HR screen. The HR person didn't have a technical background and kept asking me to slow down and repeat what I said. After that, I had a technical coding interview where they asked me to implement a basic Python built-in function from scratch. I'm not sure why that was needed. The interviewer wouldn't let me move on until I solved it.

Behavioral Technical

I applied online and had a video screening with HR. The scheduling was a mess, she was late for the first scheduled interview and had to reschedule for the next week. Even then she was late and seemed very distracted and unfamiliar with the domain, making me repeat terms. I also noticed someone walking in the background. I don't get why a non-technical person interviews after my resume was already selected. I was rejected after this round and I can't imagine what inaccurate information she gave the manager.

Behavioral Technical

I applied through a recruiter, and the hiring process for this company is quite extensive, but I'm sure it's worth it. It's not about the pay or perks, but about the people. The process was really professional and friendly. The HR person, Lior, was one of the best and most professional HR people I've ever interviewed with. The technical interview was lengthy, but the questions felt very relevant, and you can tell the data team there is top-notch. I ended up accepting another offer because it was already on the table. I'd still highly recommend applying to Zipreqruiter in Tel Aviv.
