There were 2 interviews, the second one was a work sample assessment that was very relevant to the role. The whole process was enjoyable and felt pretty casual. The team was communicative and the recruiters were super helpful the whole way through.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview has 3 rounds. The first round includes a discussion about your background and meetings with the hiring manager and a team member. The second round involves presenting an initiative for a case study on one of their products, meeting with the hiring manager and their manager. This isn't a skills discussion; the case study initiative needs to be executable and align with their current risk practices, even with limited confidential info. It's best if you have a similar understanding of their product and data to suggest common risk data practices, rather than specialized ones that might be debatable. The third round is a meeting focused on company values and leadership, where managers are looking for examples of handling work environment exceptions that align with your experience in a structured setting, avoiding extreme or unstructured scenarios.

It took over a month and a half. First, a phone screen with the recruiter. Then a meeting with the hiring manager, the department leader, and two folks on the team. Each of these interviews took about a week -- kind of lengthy but not unheard of. The next step would've been a case study. Unfortunately, I had to follow-up with the recruiter to get the next one scheduled or to get updates on my candidacy, despite being told in interviews the recruiter would reach out to get the next one scheduled. I eventually gave up because recent Glassdoor reviews corroborated my interview experience.
