After my resume was scanned, I had a recruiter interview. Then, I interviewed with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was worried I wouldn't be a good fit because I'm an external candidate, not an internal employee. I got an email saying I wasn't moving forward.

I applied online and the HR called me. They asked about my interests and some basic stuff like availability. Then, the HR arranged a phone interview with the Hiring Manager. I got an email confirmation for the interview later. A few days after, I had the phone interview with the Manager.

I applied online. Then I had a two hour phone interview, split into two one hour sessions: one with the hiring manager and another with the team. The chat with the manager was good, she seemed experienced with interviewing. The team interview was kind of all over the place and their questions felt forced. One person even asked me what skills I thought were most important for project management.

  • Can you name the top three project management skills?
  • Are there any gaps in your resume?
