It was a 3 round interview process. The questions were complex and related to law and practice for personal injury law. I recall meeting attorneys and also the manager. No one was rude.

I had a video interview with a recruiting attorney, then an interview with a senior attorney, and finally an in-person meeting with the two partners. It felt like they were asking the same questions at every stage, and it seemed like they weren't really talking to each other about the candidates. The partners interviews gave me a feeling that getting to partnership was basically impossible. They mentioned a 'partnership track,' but when I asked, it turned out only a couple of people who had been there for four or five years were on it. If a firm doesn't have a clear track, I'd be skeptical. I looked up pending cases in Texas and noticed the partners were usually the lead attorneys, which suggests you'd have to split your fees with them. The whole experience felt like smoke and mirrors, similar to another review I saw. They might try to impress you with a $250k salary after a year or two, but that's BigLaw money, and if it were that easy, everyone would be here. I've also noticed some attorney profiles are missing from their website, which is a red flag for turnover. And if they ignore your follow-up thank-you email, that's another thing to consider.

The interview process was fast and efficient. They have this really cool integrated management software that makes everything easy to use. The firm has great info online and in their pod store. They were super responsive during the whole process. The only kinda weird thing was a standardized, online test, similar to that old Wonderlink test from the NFL.
