Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ziegler.

The team from M&A are great. In my experience, it's one of the few interview processes that felt without a lot of pressure of going by the book. The interview felt more as a conversation. I really liked that they value the person as a whole rather than just diving into what they technically know.
- Can you walk me through your background and career journey?
Analyst
The interview process was long, involving 6 rounds and concluding with a case interview. The employees I met were all friendly and truthful. Many fit questions were asked, and the overall experience felt very conversational.
- Can you share some information about yourself and your background?
Analyst
I had a first round phone interview with HR in Chicago. Then, the next day, I went into the NYC office. From there, the company was miscommunicative. They asked me to come back the next day after my HR interview at the last minute. I was supposed to meet with three people. During the first interview, the interviewer cut me short after five minutes because they had to take a phone call. I interviewed with the next person, and then waited two hours. After that, I found out the other interviewers couldn't meet me, and I was told HR would reach out. No one ever reached out after that, and HR never responded to my emails.
- Could you explain a Discounted Cash Flow analysis to me?
