Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ZF Group.
Tester
It was good because the manager was friendly to talk to. The interview questions were not difficult to answer. If you practice before hand, you will succeed. My interview was virtual so I didn`t have to drive there which made it easy for me to focus.
- What would you bring to zf?
Quality Engineer
The process starts with an HR round to ensure candidates meet the basic qualifications. After that, there's a technical interview conducted over the phone, followed by an on-site interview. The on-site part mainly involves a team meeting and a tour of the production line. Most questions will be based on the job description, so it's a good idea to review key terms from it beforehand.
- Can you describe your experience with the APQP Process?
- What are your experiences with Cpk and GRR evaluations?
Quality Engineer
I got contacted by a 3rd party and was set up for an onsite interview. I met with two Quality guys who asked some behavioral and technical questions. This part took about 20 minutes. It was all pretty straightforward, and then we did a plant tour after. Just be relaxed and study your resume. They're growing a lot and need people. The people there are great and will help you out if you have questions.
- Considering a bird flying north at 10 mph with east winds at 13mph and slight overcast, what's the number of fingers on a seal's hand?
