Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at ZF Group.
Engineering Intern
First, there was an interview with HR and then another interview with the engineers from the area where I would work, which was super cool, the engineers knew how to lead the interview as if it were a conversation.
- Why do you want to work here?
Engineering Intern
Went through two calls and an in-person interview after applying online. The application wasn't too hard. They offered a good starting salary. The group was nice, but it's a bit tricky to get to the interview area, so give yourself extra time. It wasn't a high-pressure situation.
- Can you tell me about your experience with welding?
Engineer Intern
The interview process was pretty straightforward and not too difficult once my resume looked good. The person interviewing me was chill and I heard back about getting the job about a week later. Honestly, I thought they might have asked more technical stuff.
