First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zesty.
Senior Software Engineer
The process was pretty quick and straightforward. Everyone was really friendly, which made me feel more at ease and helped me do my best. There were 4 interviews in total: 2 technical interviews. The first technical interview focused on a coding algorithmic question, and the second technical interview was about system architecture. Overall, a very positive experience!
- Tell me about a recursive algorithmic question.
- Describe your experience with system architecture questions.
Senior Software Engineer
The process was super nice from day 1. It was pretty standard: a phone call, then a Zoom tech interview with some leetcode style questions. After that, there was a home assignment dealing with AWS stuff, which I did in Java since I'm from that ecosystem. Then another Zoom interview with a group leader, and finally, the offer. I was really impressed by how transparent the team was about everything. Everyone was very nice, empathetic, and professional.
- Can you tell me about your general experience and your previous job?
- Please complete a home assessment involving AWS tasks like managing buckets and performing calculations.
- Walk me through the design of some features you worked on in your previous role.
Software Engineer
the interviewer was disrespectful. didn't let me finish the introduction(i talked maybe a minute about myself ), gave me an answer that was exactly like mine (to show that he is smarter of course) and said that we don't have time for another question even though we had 20 more minutes. i wouldn't want another interview there
- Can you identify the bug in the provided code snippet?
- Could you explain the functionality of this code? It takes two words and determines if the characters from the second word are present in the first, with a modification to the first word if they are.
