First, I had a talk with a recruiter/HR person which set the tone. The person from Zest did all the talking, either asking me stuff or telling me about the company, and I didn't get to interview them at all. It was pretty revealing. Then, the case study started late by about 15 minutes (I had to nudge HR to get it going), which was also a hint of what was to come. For one part, I wrote some code to solve a problem and shared it. But the business analyst looking at it didn't know the programming language, even though it was supposed to be a requirement for the job.

I had a phone call with HR first. Then, I got a case study to complete within 1.5 hours. The initial phone call was pretty standard, mostly behavioral questions. The case study involved finance and statistics. I didn't get any feedback on either, just a general email.
