Software Engineer
Great interview, tough questions, professional hiring team, case studies also inclusive. Knowledge of key programming languages highly expected. This one na jamb question Abi na wetin. What a waste of my time and energy just to get information.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Walk me through your work history.
Business Development Manager
Had a quick and nice first chat with HR, then moved to a proper Teams video call with the European Sales Manager. It was a bit weird as they didn't turn their video on, so I was on video but they were just audio. They seemed nice but not very expressive, which was a bit of a downer and didn't make a great impression. We agreed to get feedback in a week, but I had to chase them after a week and a half. They said I'd hear back within the week. Three and a half weeks later, I got an email saying I didn't get the job. I asked for feedback to help me improve, but I don't expect a reply. The interview itself was okay, nothing special.
- Could you go over your CV with us?
- We'd like to scrutinize your CV in detail.
Graduate Trainee
I went through an aptitude test during campus recruitment. The test covered a lot of topics, from bioengineering processes to network communication. After passing, I got a call to discuss my profile and set up interviews. There were two rounds. The first was a technical interview, with questions based on the aptitude test. The second was a standard HR interview, asking about my resume. A confusing part was that the recruiter's email mentioned an offer for position 'A', but the interview turned out to be for position 'B'. This was unexpected since the aptitude test was supposed to be for position 'B'.
- Could you explain why you might have rejected an offer in the past?
IT Systems Engineer
The interview process was a multi-stage process beginning with a phone screen with the Talent Acquisition Recruiter. Afterwards, I met with Engineering Manager via Microsoft Teams to discuss the company and role in more depth. Lastly, I took part in a group panel interview with the team I would ultimately be working for. Overall, the process was easy-going with everyone from the Manager to Recruiter being informative but most importantly respectful and kind.
- Can you explain your troubleshooting methodology and identify the key factors you consider most important?
