First, I had a screening call with a recruiter. Then, I did a 30-minute interview with the SDR manager. It was a pretty boring interview, they seemed more interested in when I graduated than my actual experience. The main thing everyone wants to know is the expected KPIs: 70 cold calls a day, you have to find your own leads, and about 20 meetings per quarter. That number of meetings seems a bit low, but it must be tough to get with that many calls. The product looks good, but there's a lot of competition. Overall, the interview itself was really simple, but it sounds like a lot of work for the pay. Also, five days a week in the office sounds like a lot, especially since most places are doing hybrid now with 3 days.

It started with a recruiter call, then a call with the hiring manager. After that, I had an onsite with the hiring manager and the team. They then asked me to come in for another onsite to meet with the hiring manager and the VP of marketing. Finally, I was asked to send over an example of my playbook and KPIs from my previous team. To the recruiting and hiring manager: Close the loop with your finalist candidates. As a manager, I would always make sure that either myself or our recruiting team would let them know that we were not going to move forward with their candidacy and thank them for their time. Little things like that shows the respect for them. Candidates like myself invest a lot of time out of our day to do research on company, speak with team members, and do additional work such as developing prospecting playbooks. We understand that a personal rejection letter/email can't be sent to every candidate, but if they are the final candidates your recruiting person should show some common courtesy and send out something instead of ghosting prospects without any sort of follow up.

Saw the offer on LinkedIn, applied and a few days later someone from HR contacted me, who in turn assigned me another recruiter, so initially I had 2 interviews, then I had a technical interview with 2 company devs who were pleasant and cordial and guided me through a coding challenge which I was able to solve favorably. After this interview I didn't receive more feedback and I contacted my recruiter who told me he had lost my contact :| , he coordinated an interview with the CTO of the company, which was simply talking about my work experience and finding out what the company was about... again a week passes and nothing, I contacted them and again they had a problem following up with the people they were recruiting. I no longer had much hope, but I waited for the 5th interview, yes, 5 interviews, a senior dev contacted me to do a coding challenge, which surprised me because he asked me to do something simple, which I opted to program, since it was about showing my skills right? he negatively objected to me that because I didn't use a third-party library from someone else, I told him that it would surely be the most logical thing, but that with that I wouldn't be demonstrating if I know how to program or not, to which he responded that I was being defensive and that he had encountered programmers who didn't know how to use an API... I understand, it's probably true, but not in a 5th interview, by that point, haven't they already filtered out those who don't know how to use an API? 2 more weeks without feedback, which is shameful in any selection process, it costs nothing to inform that they are not moving forward with you, To which I decided to contact my recruiter who explained to me that I was confused, that they were not looking for a programmer immediately, so they were not evaluating, which is a big lie and it is more honest to say that they are not interested in continuing. Lots of miscommunication and lack of respect, I do not recommend this company at all.

The team really took time to get to know me, which I appreciated because they were so open and transparent throughout the whole process. It feels like there's a lot of opportunity for growth here. Plus, they keep bringing on big-name clients, which makes me think their innovative GRC software is set to become a major player in the market.
