First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Zengo & Co.
Account Executive
The interview process involved two stages. The first was a short, 15-minute meeting. The second stage was a presentation explaining the business and the different roles within the company. It would have been better if they had mentioned it was a commission-based role during the initial interview.
- What are your career goals?
Account Executive
So, the whole interview process had three parts. First, I had a quick preliminary interview, like 10-15 minutes, just with the hiring manager talking about my background. Then, I got invited back for the second round, which was a full day of job shadowing. During that day, a corporate trainer also interviewed me. Finally, I was asked back for the third and last stage. It was pretty easy, I just had to complete a questionnaire and then had one last chat with the hiring manager, and they offered me the job.
- Is the commute to this role manageable for you daily?
- Have you worked in marketing and sales before?
- Could you tell me about three of your strengths?
Account Executive
So first you get here, and they give you a questionnaire with about 10 questions asking about your experience, your education, and that type of thing. Then they take you to their workspace so you can see what they do and how they do it. After that, they'll go over the pay, how the company is structured, and how you can move up within it.
- Tell me about your education level.
- How close do you live to the office?
- What were your responsibilities in your previous role?
