Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied online, sending my resume and answers to the job posting questions. The next week, I got a call for a phone interview, which went great with the friendly recruiter. Then, I had another phone interview with the Customer Advocate team manager, which also went really well, leading to an invitation to their office. I traveled across the US for this meeting at my own expense. Once there, it was a bit chaotic figuring out who to talk to first. Each interviewer seemed unaware of the next steps and kept asking if I had an agenda, which I didn't. During one interview, the interviewer was clearly distracted by people outside making faces and doing tricks. I felt pretty unimportant and unprofessional. The whole onsite took 4 hours, including job shadowing. By the end, I was tired of repeating the same answers to the same questions. I mean, I get interviewing with multiple people, but couldn't they ask different questions? When it was time to go, I felt rushed, unable to say goodbye or ask any questions. It was a Friday, and the staff seemed eager for the weekend, even lighting a cake as I was leaving. I was told I'd get an answer that day, but two weeks later I found out I wasn't selected. The company seems to put on a show for candidates.

The interview process was easy and fun, all the people asked great questions and I really got to know many of the staff members. You begin by completing a phone interview and a small task. Once you pass these two steps you are asked to come in and complete an in-person interview. I got an office tour and talked to four different people one on one. It was a great interview experience.

I had an initial phone interview with the hiring manager, and then moved to in-person interviews at their office with four different people. I was there for about 2.5 hours and got a tour of the office as well. Everyone I met with seemed happy and positive, and it seems like a great place to work.
